3. Marrakech, Morocco
Known around the world as “The Red City”. Here you can enjoy palaces, gardens and museums. World class accommodations abound through the area. The city’s soulk district is a street market unlike anything in the world where you can find almost anything! It is also becoming well known for its golf courses. The best time to visit is October-May, it is very hot during the summer months.
Best known for its rare exotic beauty and over the water bungalows. Here you will find superb SCUBA diving with 150 feet of visibility, surfing and deep-sea fishing. Beautiful beaches and serenity abound here. The best time to visit is May-November.
5. Oia, Santorini Greece
The most beautiful of the Greek Islands with its whitewashed villages and indigo water. You will enjoy sailing, sea kayaking, diving and cave snorkeling. This is a sea adventurer’s paradise. Also known for their incredible wine, the best time for wine tasting is October when you can taste the most recent harvest. Expect a lot of drinking, dancing and plate smashing. The autumn months are the best time to visit to avoid the crowds.
6. Majorea, Spain
Here you will see beautiful beaches and an incredible mountain range that you can traverse on a bicycle or car. You will also enjoy magnificent castles and cathedrals. The best weather is during June-August, but you can still enjoy average temps of 75 degrees without the crowds in May, September and October.
7. Koh Tao, Thailand
Known as ‘turtle island”, Koh Tao is one of the cheapest and best places to get your PADI diving certification. The best way to see the island is to rent a moto (moped), it is also the easiest way to get around. You will also enjoy pub crawls, hiking and sunset swimming, just some of the many activities to enjoy on this paradise. Best time to visit is December-July, August-November is monsoon season.
The City of Lights!!! Probably one of the most romantic cities in the world. So much to see, hear, taste and explore that I can’t possibly mention them all. Paris is like its own world, revolving on its own axis. Anything you would like to see or do can be arranged. Truly a magical place. Best times to visit are April-June and September-October, but there really is no bad time to go to Paris.
9. Wellington, New Zealand
If you are a foodie, Wellington is the place for you, known for outstanding cuisine and dining experiences. In this beachside town, you can enjoy museums, climb Mount Victoria, and visit Zealandia Sanctuary among many other things. For the best weather visit anytime between September to March.
This is a mystical place. In Bali there are so many things to see and do, I can only list a few here. You will visit cliffside temples, rice terraces, the sacred monkey forest, art market, an active volcano, go on safari and visit the marine park. These are only a few things. So much history and mystery surround this place, you will be mesmerized. The islands dry season is from April to October.
